Good company.
Great motivation.

Create an invite-only group, share the code, and see how your steps stack up. Follow daily and monthly standings, or set a start and finish date for a group competition.

Bring a little
character.

Your place on the leaderboard deserves a face. Unlock cosmetics as you play, choose your look, and give your friends someone to chase.

And when you want a bigger crowd, opt into Community to compare steps with other Steppy users. Your private groups stay invite-only.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Before you
head out.

How does Steppy count my steps?

Steppy reads your step count from Apple Health rather than using GPS to record a route. Open or refresh Steppy to sync your latest steps. Your leaderboard reflects the data each member has synced.

Can I do a step challenge with friends?

Yes. Create a private group and share its invite code. Compare daily and monthly step totals, or have the group creator set up a competition with a start and end date.

Do I need an account or an Apple Watch?

You do not need an email, password, or Apple Watch. Choose a nickname and allow Apple Health step access on your iPhone. Steppy uses an anonymous account behind the scenes to save your progress.

Who can see my steps?

Members of the groups you join can see your shared step totals and profile. Community is optional: joining makes your Community username, steps, and streak visible to other Steppy users. You can leave Community or delete your account in Settings.

Is Steppy available on Android?

Steppy for Android is coming soon. Steppy is currently available for iPhone.

What is the difference between a step counter and Steppy?

A basic pedometer shows how much you walk. Steppy combines your step count with friend leaderboards, group competitions, quests, levels, achievements, and unlockable characters.
